Mando'a words are passed down from older cadets to younger ones like precious jewels. They're whispered in secret at night, cold comfort after the brutality of the training.
It's what they have of their father, Gree says. It should be held in their hearts, in a place of honor.
It's a comforting lie, Bly says. Jango Fett is no father to them. They are not Mando.
But Bly murmurs soothing Mando'a nothings to Gree when he lies curled in his bunk shaking with exhaustion nonetheless. And they both teach the younger clones what they can, refusing to let it die.

Date: 2023-05-27 02:01 pm (UTC)I probably wouldn't have, but week 3 brought the Finish Line Challenge and I pushed out chs 4 - 16 before challenge close, finishing 17 & 18 in amnesty this morning.
BUT chapters 1-3 were pre-round 3 challenge drop, so enjoy your combo kink meme / finish line pod, I love you.
