UNIVERSAL BONUS [10 point bonus] Bonus for any Voiceteam fanwork that centers one or more characters who are Black, Indigenous, and/or people of color.

On challenges where points are awarded per participant, the 10 points will be awarded to each participant, otherwise it will just be 10 additional points for the whole submission. For challenges which do not generate fanworks, the universal bonus cannot be earned.

Round 1: Introductions

TEAM NAME & MASCOT [100 points for the team—these points do not count towards your individual cap]: Agree on a team name and a mascot. Your mascot can be whatever you want! An animal? An object? A character? A vague yet menacing concept? Your choice!

15 MINUTES OF FAME [40 points per team member who contributes]: Create a fanwork of any medium involving your mascot. It could be fanart, text or oral not!fic backstory, podficced text, a theme song, yarncraft, a cake, or anything else!

FRIEND! [10 points + 5 points for the bonus]: Listen to and leave a comment on an audio fanwork you haven’t listened to before that was made by one of your team members. Bonus if you record and leave an audio comment! (If you don’t want to get feedback when you know someone’s getting points for it, drop a note in #opt-out)

ROPE THEM IN [50 points for each non-podficcer]: Get a non-podficcer friend or family member to create a podfic. For the purposes of this challenge, the definition of non-podficcer is anyone who does not self-identify as a podficcer.

MULTIPODICITY [40 points for each team member who contributes]: Make a multivoice audio fanwork with multiple team members, or simultaneously release multiple podfics of the same story with one or more team members.

MIRROR IMAGE [40 points for each player who contributes]: Think of a character you have something in common with. Create an audio fanwork of the character showing that trait (or those traits!) This could be a podfic of a written fic where the character is showing a trait that overlaps with you, or it could be an oral not!fic you create. It can also be a multivoice involving multiple players voicing characters they have something in common with in the same fanwork.

WAVELENGTH [45 points for each player who contributes]: Create an audio fanwork that feels very *you*: maybe it centers on a favorite trope, character, fandom, performance style, etc. Share it with your team and explain why you chose it.

NO MAKE-UP CHALLENGE [40 points for each player who contributes]: Create an audio fanwork that is not edited—leave in your mistakes! Share it with at *least* your team.

INSPIRED BY [50 points for each team member who contributes]: Create a fanwork inspired by an existing audio fanwork made by someone on your team. Your fanwork could be audio, visual, a poem, acting out a scene with hand puppets, or whatever you want.

GOALS AND BOUNDARIES [45 points]: Set a goal of at least one thing you hope to do before the end of Voiceteam. Set a boundary of at least one thing you want to make sure to not do during Voiceteam. Share these with your team. Each player can only get points for this challenge once.
