Submissions: Completed creations should be turned in to the mods. Creations can be turned via your team’s Submissions channel on the Voiceteam Discord or via email at voiceteammods@gmail.com. Submissions can only be scored on one challenge so if it could be counted multiple ways, state which one you would like the project counted as. A mod will confirm a) that they saw the creation b) the number of points it is worth for the group c) how many points each individual earned towards the cap and those totals. Point totals will be posted at the end of each week.
Point cap: We want this to be a fair competition and while we love our overachieving friends, we don’t want them to tip the scale too far. To limit that, each individual can earn up to 400 points each week. Once an individual has hit their point cap, they are more than welcome to keep completing challenges, but they can no longer earn points. We want these challenges to inspire you to create while keeping an even playing field for people who aren’t as prolific.
How group works are counted: For each group submission we calculate how many points it's worth in total and then how many points go towards the point caps of each participant. So say 3 people release podfics at the same time for the simulpod challenge. That would earn 35 * 3 = 105 points for the group total. Each of those 3 individuals then has 35 points added to their point cap. However say one of those members is 10 points away from their point cap, they can still participate but the points would be calculated this way: (35 * 2) + 10 = 80, i.e. 2 people at the full value of 35 points each, 1 person at the amount they can still contribute before hitting the cap or 0 if they have already hit their cap but participated anyway.
Exceptions: In week 1 we have 3 challenges which do not count towards the point cap and will only be counted once: naming your team, picking a mascot, and the fandom list. Other challenges can be redone as many times as you want!
